Ian Butler is a Trust Officer in the accounting operations and reporting group at NewTower Trust Company. Prior to joining NewTower, Ian served as an assistant controller at ING Clarion Partners where he was responsible for various aspects of financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and day to day portfolio operations and cash management for three opportunistic real estate development funds. Ian also served as a project accountant for a commercial real estate developer and property management company in Washington, DC, and began his career as an auditor with KPMG. Mr. Butler graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Accounting and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
